Claires Court
Claires Court is a school for families, run by a family, providing private education for young people aged 3-18 years. Based on three sites across Maidenhead, we are an all ability day school where boys and girls are educated separately during their main school years, but come together for trips and visits, whilst our Nursery and Sixth Form pupils benefit from a co-educational learning.
Across our sites, the facilities and playing fields are what you would expect from an independent school, but it is the feeling of belonging and our ethos that will help your child thrive and flourish. We pride ourselves in offering the best education, one that makes a child feel valued, delivers results and provides a wealth of opportunities. Our different approach and wonderful pastoral care ensures that at each stage of your child's development they will be nurtured, guided and supported.
At Claires Court, we treat everyone as an individual, evaluating each child's ability to ensure we can enable them to reach their full potential, helping them achieve great results, whether that be in the classroom, on the sports field or in the creative arena.

Lodge School are now accepting boys from 3 to 18. We have a strong tradition of the creative and performing arts and those brave boys joining us will be expected to take a full part in the schools broad curriculum. We believe that education is about developing the foundations for making a life as well as for making a living. We delight in celebrating a large range of different achievements, whether through the attainment of excellent academic and vocational qualifications, or through the development of leadership and life skills.
Hurst Lodge is intentionally a small school offering all pupils the chance to try out a wide range of activities to establish what suits them best and to develop a friendship base across age ranges. Our staff enable pupils to work at their own pace and ability level. We seek to inspire curiosity and imagination and encourage our children to experience a rich cultural life, encompassing the arts, science and citizenship, developing leadership and teamwork skills. We believe in the importance of underpinning this by making the connection between ourselves and the natural world and have embarked on a journey of exploration by undertaking the development of a small holding and a programme of integrating the school’s operations into the learning experience. We are collaborating in this with the award-winning Eden Project in Cornwall.

We are an International Language Learning Company who privately own and operate 39 language schools in 17 different Countries around the World. We teach 8 different languages - these include English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Russian and Japanese. All the languages are taught in their countries of origin which gives the students the unique opportunity to learn the language where it is spoken as well as communicate with local people in this language. Meanwhile, students are also able to engross themselves in the local culture and customs of the country they are staying in, thus increasing their comprehension of the language they are studying.
For UK Private students and parents considering taking a second language course just send an email and one of our representatives will make contact with you to have an informal meeting at a place which is most convenient to you, where full details of all the courses on offer around the world (including the tuition fees) will be given. ISRUK offer intensive language courses which include time periods ranging from three months to a full year. The objective of intensive language learning is that by the end of the course the student will be able to speak, read and fully communicate in the chosen language.
As well as having Language Learning Schools in 16 other countries we also have five schools in the UK - two in London and one each in Cambridge, Brighton, Eastbourne and Bournemouth.

A magnificent setting for an 'outstanding' school. The 400 year old mansion and beautiful 150 acre parkland that surrounds it provide the stunning setting for The Schools At Somerhill. Most children start their Somerhill education in the Nursery. Somerhill Pre-Prep offers both boys and girls excellent opportunities for learning until the end of Year Two, when they transfer to the two prep schools that operate within the mansion. Yardley Court for boys aged 7-13 and Derwent Lodge for girls aged 7-11. Unique in this part of the world, the children are therefore taught in single sex classes from age seven but see a lot of each other, we also make use of selected co-educational opportunities, such as certain clubs and activities, themed days and musical groupings, including two orchestras.

Weston Green prides itself on nurturing the individual talents and personalities of every pupil. We provide a safe, exciting, well-resourced environment for your child to grow and develop. We believe that every child should enjoy their childhood and that learning should be challenging and fun.

Weston Green School Elect Their First School Councillors
Elections for Weston Green School's first school councillors took place in Key Stage 2 just before the Easter break. Weston Green has been phasing in its Key Stage 2 education provision, and welcomed its first pupils into Year 5 in September.
Pupils who wanted to be considered for the role of councillor had to prepare a short election speech which they gave to the class. They then answered questions from their classmates.
The votes were counted and finally, amid much tension and excitement, the results were announced:
5H is represented by Xannie and Oliver, 4D is represented by Jude and Caitlin, 3N is represented by Thomas and Jorja
At the final assembly of the term, Mrs Harvey, Headteacher, proudly presented the new councillors with their badges. The first school council meeting was held shortly after and the council have been busy discussing what they would like to achieve during their term of office. KS2 have held another ballot to choose between a shortlist of suggestions for improving the school and getting involved in the local community.
In September 2013, the current Year 5 pupils will move into the school's first Year 6 class.
