The Merchant Taylors' Crosby family first began in 1620 with the foundation of the Senior Boys' School. In 1888, the boys moved into a new building a few hundred metres away, making room for a new girls' school. There are now four schools in total; Stanfield - a combined co-educational prep school and junior girls' school, a junior boys' school, and two senior schools for boys and girls situated on separate sites.
Senior school tuition fees for the 2015 - 2016 academic year are £3,578 per term, £10,734 per annum
Junior school fees are £2,675 per term, £8,025 per annum and Infant School Fees £2,648 per term, £7,944 per annum.
Lunch fees range between £152 and £174 per term depending on age and number of lunches required.

St. Mary's College is an Independent Catholic School for boys and girls of all faiths aged 0-18. We are a thriving community which places a high value on outstanding academic achievement and all-round personal development. Our school is built on strong values which emphasise the importance of caring for others and striving for excellence in all we do. Boys and girls can start at our Bright Sparks & Early Years department (0-4 years) soon after birth and progress to our preparatory school The Mount (4-11 years) before moving on to the College (11-18 years), where typically they achieve up to 99% pass rates at both GCSE and A level. Windermere School is an independent, coeducational boarding and day school in England’s Lake District National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The School has its own Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Watersports Centre on the shores of Lake Windermere. The School was awarded the International Baccalaureate School of the Year 2017/2018 by the Sunday Times and was rated Excellent in the latest inspection report by the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate (February 2018).
